The Soft Enamel Pin Process

Soft enamel pins are die struck, leaving raised and recessed areas in the design. Enamel paint in a variety of PMS and Pantone colors fills in the recessed areas. Then, it is air dried which causes the enamel to settle a bit, giving the pin almost a 3D look to it.

Each colored area is surrounded by a thin metal line which holds the enamel in place.

They are very similar to our hard enamel pins with the raised metal lines. But unlike a hard enamel pin, you can feel the raised lines if you gently rub a thumb or finger on the pin.

You have full design and color flexibility so customize your pin the way you want it to look! Once you place your order and approve the proof, your soft enamel pins will be on their way to you in 10 business days or less.
